Mg midget stub axles

Here we have a Midget front hub oil seal GHS Horizontal on the old front shocks, horizontal and vertical on the fulcrum, and stub axles. This item is number 4 on diagram below. Personally, like you SG, I just accept a bit of play.

Adding another grease nipple is a partial solution, but on Barry King's components, as well as having twin nipples, the threaded pin is solid, not hollow, meaning that the grease must go round the threads where it is most needed. So I have to buy "made" items. I think it depends on how vigerously they have been jammed in place. When I first fitted mine years ago, I was a bit over the top in making sure the cotter went well in. This will fit and Midgets, or earlier I like to take the lot apart, just to see what its like, how its made and how it works.

But don't worry I won't replace anything unless its necessary. I had pretty large amounts of play. These were the better EN16T steel and have served me reliably over the years as well. Apparently they can be a swine to remove. This will fit and Midgets, or earlier
